Several weeks ago, United States Senator Ted Cruz traveled to the beautiful Baylor Club at McLane Stadium in Waco and hosted several hundred friends and supporters of Senator Birdwell’s at a fall campaign event.

Along with his poignant and passionate remarks about the state of our nation, Senator Cruz spoke at length about the value and importance of Senator Birdwell’s representation of Senate District 22 and his important conservative leadership—for all Texans—as a member of the Texas Senate.

“The path to turn things around…is with Texas leading the way,” Cruz said. “And I will tell you, there is no stronger conservative in the Texas Senate—bar none—than Senator Brian Birdwell.”

The night made for a wonderful opportunity for Senator Birdwell and Mel to visit with so many of the gracious and steadfast supporters of Brian’s—both new ones and the early ‘Birdwell Backers’ from 2010 and onward.
